Davao Airport Car Rentals started with a simple idea: make it easier for visitors to Davao to have a reliable car they can use to explore the city and travel at their own pace. The business was founded by Kimberly Mapili, a virtual assistant who has spent years working with international clients. While building her career serving clients around the world, Kimberly saw an opportunity to build something locally in Davao. She started with one car.
As more guests discovered the convenience of having a rental vehicle during their stay, that one car became another, and then another. What began as a small personal venture gradually grew into a car rental service built around helping travelers experience Davao with more freedom and flexibility.

You must be at least 25 years old to rent a car from Davao Airport Car Rentals. A valid driver’s license and other required rental documents must also be presented upon booking and vehicle pickup.
What documents do I need to rent a car?
To rent a car from Davao Airport Car Rentals, you only need to provide: 1. Copy of your valid driver’s license with your signature 2. One additional valid ID to be held as security 3. Signed rental contract, which will be completed and signed upon vehicle pickup That’s it! Our rental process is simple and hassle-free.
What types of vehicles are available for rent?
Car rental services offer a variety of vehicles to suit different needs. Options include economy and compact cars for city travel, mid-size and full-size sedans for comfort, SUVs for families or road trips, vans for large groups, and convertibles for leisure and unique driving experiences.
Can I rent a car with a debit card?
Currently, we do not accept debit or credit card payments. We accept the following payment methods: 1. GCash 2. Maya (PayMaya) 3. GoTyme 4. Bank Transfer Please choose any of these available payment options when making your reservation.
What is your fuel policy?
We follow a Full-to-Full fuel policy. Your car will be provided with a full tank of fuel at pickup, and you are expected to return the car with a full tank.
Can I add additional drivers to my rental agreement?
Yes — most car rental companies allow you to add additional drivers to your rental agreement. Each added driver usually must meet the same requirements as the primary renter, such as a valid driver’s license and minimum age. Some providers may charge a small fee for extra drivers.
What happens if I return the car late?
If you return the car beyond your agreed rental period, we will charge a pro-rated rental fee based on the additional time used. Please inform us as soon as possible if you expect to be late.
